About Jessica


Jessica Hardy is an actress and filmmaker living in Chicago. In 2002 she studied with The Second City conservatory. She has performed numerous sketch and improv shows at The Apollo Theater, Second City Skybox, The Viaduct, The Royal George Theater, Chicago Sketchfest, and more. She and her husband Brent Kado are Flowfeel Films and have produced three feature comedy films. Their third film A Short History of Drugs in the Valley was released on Amazon Prime in 2016. In 2014 Jessica and her husband moved to Los Angeles for three years where she studied under Lesly Kahn. She was the showcase showdown winner on the Price is Right and has appeared in commercials (Dove, Proactiv, Belvita), television (Veep, The Ranch, The Goldbergs), and film. She is the founder of the Chicago Comedy Film Festival which was named one of the top film festivals worth the entry fee by MovieMaker Magazine. In 2016 the festival honored Jane Lynch with a Lifetime Achievement Award for her contribution to comedy.

Jessica enjoys insipring others to find their voice. Humor is healing and she enjoys using improv comedy to teach others how to be open to themselves and new discoveries. She has taught improv to womens groups, teen groups, adults, actors, and LGBTQ conferences. She has met hundreds of people who have opened themselves up through improv in her workshops and she has first hand felt the impact of improv on her own life. She believes improv is for everyone and enjoys sharing its benefits. She has primarily focused on womens workshops and feels that improv is a tool for women be wildly free and surrender to their true nature.
